Welcome to the Jungle

Tee - Topman             Jeans - Primark

To start April off, I've put together an outfit which was inspired by a well known rock band guns and roses. To add to the rock theme I've also incorporated some DIY ripped skinny jeans. I made these by making a small cut into the knee and pulling the jean material apart making a frayed tear across the knee. If you're wanting to rip your own jeans make sure you do so carefully, I previously cut my other jeans and ended up with a slight vertical cut which ripped further down my jeans as a I wore them. You can also put more rips in them maybe higher up the jean or lower down. I decided to rip my old cheap jeans in case I messed them up and the material seemed ok for cutting. Also you can make them look frayed where the cuts are by pulling on the loose material or using sandpaper to fray the edges.
I chose not to add too much colour to the outfit as black is primarily the only colour worn in rock bands. Even though I only wore black it works well and makes the guns and roses logo on my t shirt stand out more. Or to add a pop of colour add some brightly coloured sunglasses.

What's your favourite rock band?

March Favourites

It's the 1st of April which means it's time to review my March favourites. My first favourite is my "bad hair day" hat, which comes in useful in the windy weather. It's also a quirky accessory to add to a fairly "nothing special" outfit. My next favourite is my Lacoste L!VE aftershave, I don't know about you but i'm slightly picky when it comes to aftershaves. I would describe this scent as a musky smell with fruity undertones of lime. It's a great smell and not too strong so if you're looking to purchase a new fragrance which you haven't tried before, try this if you spot it on your shopping travels.

If you're like me and love reading books and you haven't got one of these already you need a kindle! They are very convenient for travelling or just simply reading in the house. As you can see mine needs charged, however I got this for Christmas and i've only needed to charge it twice! With millions of books to choose from, it saved room and money as the e-books are much cheaper than the paper back ones! Finally my last favourite ties in with an exciting event which is happening next week.... IM GOING TO SEE NICKI MINAJ! In preparation for the concert i've been rekindling my love for her old albums.

What are your March favourites?

Relaxed yet Refined

Blazer - Slaters          Shirt - Primark            Jeans - Primark          Boots - Shoezone

Now for something different to the style I usually post. I decided to put together a formal outfit however still embracing the casual aspects. As you can see the outfit is mostly black however the blue check shirt gives it a much more relaxed tone and for £5 you can't really go wrong! Also added the blazer to give a much more sophisticated and smarter look.

If you are wanting the full suit look then change to some slim or skinny trousers. I chose to wear with some black jeans as they were much more comfortable and not too dressy but still a smart jean. This outfit is perfect if your going out for a meal or possibly a wedding night. If you wear a suit during the day change into a more casual shirt and change to jeans if they're more comfortable!

Which do you prefer, formal or casual?

Street wear by Butta Apparel

Jumper - Butta Apparel*           Jeans - Primark              Bag - Topman            Trainers - Schuh

As you may or may not have seen in my previous post I introduced you to a great street brand called Butta Apparel where I styled a casual but trendy orange tee. In this post I thought i'd show you another one of their amazing pieces. This grey sweatshirt is great for the type of mild weather we're having and perfect for pairing with some blue or black jeans with an addition of some trainers. In my last post I mentioned the outfit is perfect for going to the beach in, simply grab this sweatshirt to throw in your bag to change into on a chilly night!

I particularly like that the jumper is thick enough to wear on it's own however not so much of a heavy material that you're going to overheat! Another plus is that anything along the monochrome spectrum can be paired with various colours so grey is a great option in this case!

What colours do you like to pair with monochrome?

Orange is the new Black

 T Shirt - Butta Apparel*          Jacket/Jeans - Primark

Back to blogging again and I thought I would start off with an outfit post. This outfit post includes a great orange tee provided by Butta Apparel. I recently came across this independent brand and thought I would share with you some of their street style apparel.
I decided to style the tee with a black jacket and black jeans which are both from Primark making the outfit super affordable. I felt it also made the top stand out more due to the bright colour.  Maybe orange isn't your colour? Don't worry they come in different colours including grey blue and maroon.
These tee's are great for introducing some colour to your wardrobe as we're creeping into the spring/summer weather! Or if unlike the UK you've already reached the sunny weather, pair with some breezy shorts and get yourself to the beach! Overall this is definitely a casual piece and works best with an outfit that gives off a relaxed vibe.

Thirsty? // Scheckter's & Alibi Review

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share something a little different with you. I've recently came across 2 drinks company which I have to tell you all about.

Scheckter's Organic Energy

Founded in 2010 Scheckter's Organic Energy provides fantastic tasting energy drinks which are completely 100% organic. I have to say I love these drinks! The first thing which caught my eye about this drinks is that their organic and fair-trade which I always love about products. The drinks come in original and lite flavour however they both have an amazing fruit flavour to them.

I know with energy drinks they don't really have much taste and are extremely fizzy but I love that these drinks they're not too overpowering and taste amazing with the fruit flavour. Also without any refined sugars or taurine is a complete bonus making them more healthier overall. The lite drinks also tastes exactly like the original however there is a 1/3 less calories!

Overall I absolutely love these drinks and honestly think they taste better than other original energy drinks as the fruit taste makes them taste amazing! I would recommend to anyone who loves their energy drinks!

Alibi Health Drink

Alibi drinks are fruit blended health drinks containing 19 essential vitamins, minerals and natural herbal extracts. I have to say I love the taste of these drinks! Personally the sparkling citrus is my favourite flavour however that's just me! These drinks come in 3 different fruit flavours: Sparkling citrus, Sparkling blueberry and Sparkling Pomegranate.

I also love again that these drinks are health and have no refined sugars or artificial ingredients. The main pro to these drinks is that they replenish, hydrate and support your natural body defenses. In addition to this they taste great and don't taste too bitter. If you're looking for a great tasting health drinks which provide all the daily vitamins you need then look no further! Alibi health drinks are perfect for all this.

Both drinks you can find in your local supermarkets including Tescos! I would recommend giving both these drinks a try they are both amazing and both healthy! If you have any questions or comments on these drinks please leave below. Thanks again Scheckter and Alibi I will definitely be buying in the future!
